![]() ![]() Want to play around stuff that either do straight AoE or has repeated effect like wall of flame or flame shield - try to get high int. So if you for example want to focus on stuff like Concelhaut's Corrosive Siphon and Necrotic Lance - go with 10 int. So depending on your spellchoise you can either go with 10 int(would not recommend to dump it) or with highest you can allow. While second one will have more repeated ticks and thus bigger damage. Basically you doubled duration - you halved damage per second. Basically game has two types of DoT: "X damage over Y second" and "X damage per Z sec over Y" In case of first one no metter how you prolonged duration it will still do X damage once effect ended. It boost duration of effects, which in some cases might end up in LESS damage then more. ![]() I would probably recommend to lock it at 18 and start from here. PER: High Per means a lot crits, less misses, long disables - everything offencive character(not even caster) want. However its not something which you will get early However you have almost broken Delaterious Alacrity of Motions, which you can eventually master(one free use every encounter) so you can start every fight by putting it on and running around with 10 dex without much problems. And you drink it at the end of fight or once all dangerous to you enemies are removed, it will even heal your HP.ĭEX: Dex is great for any damage dealer character as it speed up both attacks and casting times. In case you drop too fast in red HP zone, you can use infused with vital essence spell or even potion. You can even deal with 8-9 con assuming you are careful. I would not recommend to go with more then 10 con. MIG: High might is good for nuker caster as there isn't that much ways to boost spell damage(they do not scale like in PoE2) compared to weapon damage(that doesn t means that damage of spells is bad though).ĬON: Con is so so. Nature godlike has nice ability which stacks with other might bonuses and death godlike ability totally works with spells. If you go this way, you may want to look at wood elf as it will provide additional accuracy with ranged weapon and ranged spells, though moon godlike would have easier start. Basically like Blast -> Penetrating blast -> Marksman -> Penetrating shot -> Respec to caster Might as well start as more of Blast focused wizard with want and respec later. Only problem with spell nuker in PoE1 is that its spells are per rest, not per encounter, so you will have to rest often at start. ![]() Instead, after submission, click the button under your post to assign the appropriate link flair, which will produce the same spoiler tags.
